This picture never gets old for me....
My 26th birthday was spent working alone on a Sunday, producing the 6 pm News in Salinas, CA. When I got to work this card was waiting at my desk. It's was left from the overnight Producer. Allow me to translate. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXIS!! There was a triple shooting in Salinas last night. 1 person is dead, 2 others injured and taken to the hospital. There is a full screen map graphic of the scene and some video of where the shooting took place. Called the police this morning." Happy Birthday to me!! I laughed, I cried, I grew another year older.
